Its good see a reasonable discussion on practical radiation protection matters.

During part of this discussion the topic of irradiated dosimetry in transit 
came up.

Roy Parker gave a presentation at the 24th Annual International Dosimetry 
Symposium and National Dosimetry Records Conference held this last June on 
pretty much this topic and may be of interest.
