A-P-T Research, Inc. (Analysis, Planning, Test Research, or "APT"), an

announce the following employment opportunity at the US Army Yuma Proving
Ground in Yuma, Arizona:

Radiation Protection Technician:  The Radiation Protection Technician is
responsible for providing assistance to the Radiation Protection Manager in
all operational aspects of the Radiation Program.  Primary duties include,
but are not limited to:  maintaining files pertaining to Radiation
Protection; performing quarterly audits of areas where sources of ionizing
and non-ionizing radiation are used or stored, performing laboratory
analysis of samples, maintaining radiation survey and laboratory equipment,
receipt and exchange of personnel dosimetry, shipping and receiving of
radioactive material, and customer support to both YPG staff and transient
test personnel.
 
Requires a DoD security clearance (prefer current) within 12 months of hire;
AZ drivers license within 2 weeks of hire; ability to work in environmental
extremes of SW Arizona; Excellent communications skills; Familiarity with
Microsoft Office; Ability to work in fast-paced environment with a variety
of customers and test personnel with a customer-service, solution-oriented
focus.  Individuals with prior experience supporting research & development
