      Hi Radsafe types,

           Yeah, Star is the name of an anti-nuclear group in the Long Island
area.  Probably responsible for closing down the HFBR --- High Flux Beam 
Reactor at Brookhaven???  Too bad.

           Now, do your homework, Farber.  STAR is also the name of one of the
experiments being run at RHIC (Brookhaven) --- the Relativistic Heavy Ion
Collider.  More information on all this can be found on Brookhaven
webpages.
