George,
Thanks very much for posting this article.  Can you (or anyone else) 
shed light on the current status of Z. Jaworowski  and the UNSCEAR group 
that contributed so heavily toward keeping the world's feet on the 
ground for years after Chernobyl? The last I recall, the UNSCEAR funding 
was being decimated -- due in part to fund-raising  groups whose 
contributions were being dried up by the truth which was that the 
catastrophe was not nearly as damaging as the "doomsday" people were 
portraying it to be.
