[ RadSafe ] plug-in hybrid cars

This pertains to anyone who advocates a transition from 
fossil fuel in transportation, whether you prefer nuclear,
wind, hydro, solar, or geothermal, and to safety, if you 
believe that infrared radiation, in which carbon dioxide 
is opaque, results from heat caused by visible light, in 
which carbon dioxide is transparent, and that heat ends 
up in the atmosphere, where it contributes to the mean 
windspeed, increasing the strength of storms.

People in my area were working on conversion kits for 
stock hybrid cars, to add rechargable batteries.  These 
cars use gasoline only for back up, on long trips:

The guy in charge of www.calcars.org gave a talk at PARC 
this past week.  The EPRI is involved.

Next assignment:  make the rechargable batteries modular 
and universal so that they can be exchanged and recharged 
at service stations.

By the way, to the guy who asked about sunspots:  the 
CO2 concentration from the past five centuries mirrors 
the human use of coal as a fossil fuel.  When only wood 
was used as fuel by most people, the CO2 rate was steady:
