Bravo, hybrid cars. Bravo nuclear power (Bush promotion)

But, Fact: more CO2 comes into the USA (prevailing winds drom west, largely from third world forest burning) than exits from USA on the east cost!
. Kyoto is crazy.

This pertains to anyone who advocates a transition from
fossil fuel in transportation, whether you prefer nuclear,
wind, hydro, solar, or geothermal, and to safety, if you
believe that infrared radiation, in which carbon dioxide
is opaque, results from heat caused by visible light, in
which carbon dioxide is transparent, and that heat ends
up in the atmosphere, where it contributes to the mean
windspeed, increasing the strength of storms.

People in my area were working on conversion kits for
stock hybrid cars, to add rechargable batteries. These
cars use gasoline only for back up, on long trips:

The guy in charge of www.calcars.org gave a talk at PARC
this past week. The EPRI is involved.

Next assignment: make the rechargable batteries modular
and universal so that they can be exchanged and recharged
at service stations.

By the way, to the guy who asked about sunspots: the
CO2 concentration from the past five centuries mirrors
the human use of coal as a fossil fuel. When only wood
was used as fuel by most people, the CO2 rate was steady:
