Would you say that if you lived in China or India or 
Europe or Australia?  It's far better than nothing. 

The sooner most people get out from under the thumb of 
a dwindling resource, the better off we will all be.

Or, we could ignore the problem, spend another millionth
of the U.S. budget on electric vehicles, instead of the 
full percent we should be, and watch our resource 
war-fueled defense spending rise from 35% to 80%.  I bet 
Bush's defense contractors would love that windfall.

And, think of the possibilities for getting rid of a few 
thousand tons of DU byproduct, which, face it, just is
not as romantic as the spent fuel ponds, and there's so 
much more of it.  Too bad so many people would have to 
die or screw up their chromosomes in the process.
