Limerick Generating Station
Pottstown, PA  19464 (40 miles northwest of Philadelphia)
Position:  Radiation Protection Supervisor
Job Code:  EILGSRS
 
In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for directing the Station Radiation Protection Technicians in implementing decontamination, instrumentation, planning and scheduling, procedures, training, radiation exposure control and radwaste programs in support of Operation and Maintenance activities in the plant.  This position also ensures compliance with applicable regulatory and state requirements and interfaces with Senior Management and the State and Federal regulators on matters related to implementation of the Radiation Protection program.  

In addition to the above, the major accountabilities of this position are:
	*	Direct RP Tech's in daily work.
	*	Conduct tailgate meetings and supervisory briefing meetings.
	*	Manage timekeeping, scheduling issues.
	*	Ensure compliance with regulatory and state requirements.

To qualify, individuals must have:

	*	High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years experience in radiation protection at a nuclear generation facility (ANSI 18.1).
	*	Demonstrated excellent leadership skills
	*	Demonstrated written and oral communicative skills.
	*	Successful completion of a supervisory assessment prior to hire and successful completion of Exelon's management training and development program after hire.

The Preferred Candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and a minimum of  5 years experience at a nuclear generation facility.

Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station
Forked River, NJ (55 mi. East of Philadelphia/ 30mi north of Atlantic City, NJ)

Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station
Forked River, NJ (55 mi. East of Philadelphia/ 30mi north of Atlantic City, NJ)
Position:  Radiation Protection Analyst
Job Code:  EIOCARS

In this position, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that effective ALARA techniques, including lead shielding, flushing, robotics, etc. are established in all documents that control work in the radiologically posted areas within a nuclear generating facility.  Additional duties include responsibility for keeping abreast of new industry techniques and applying these in field work at the station, as well as coaching and mentoring other RP/ALARA personnel.  

To qualify, individuals must have one of the following:
	*	A BS degree in a technical field and 5 years radiation protection-related experience
OR
	*	An Associates degree in a technical field and 7 years radiation protection-related experience
OR
	*	A high school degree and at least 9 years radiation protection-related experience or, in lieu of experience, a four-year degree in Health Physics, Nuclear Engineering, Physics, or Radiation Sciences. 

Individuals must also have demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to gain and maintain unescorted access to a nuclear generating facility.  

The preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, physics or related technical discipline and prior experience at a commercial or military nuclear facility.
