Hi,

This is a question from an acquaintance who is a recreational sailor.

Does anyone know of any regulations that prohibit the use of depleted
uranium (DU) as ballast (because of its high density) in a sailboat keel,
or in any boat? If possible to use, where could the DU be obtained and
what would be the approximate cost ?

Regards,
