You are welcome Franz.  But unfortunately the internet doesn't always work
as conveniently as it first appears.   I just discovered that the internet
link will only take you to the introductory page of the article, the poll,
the forum and the pictorial tour.  One has to join the National Geographic
Society (subscribe) to get access to the rest of the written article.
Since  you are already a member, you can probably register and gain free
access to all the web information as an additional benefit of your
membership.   But nonmembers will still have to buy the issue of the
magazine or become members.
