DCE 0800 - Health Physics Exam Review
Noncredit / Spring 2007

CSU announces a 16 week Certified Health Physics (CHP) exam review class
taught online. This is the first online review class that lets you study at
times and places convenient to you!

The class is held live on Wednesday evenings and streamed live; it can also
be viewed online later. Students ask questions and interact online during
the class or by email. Each student is assigned an individual mentor to
track progress. Homework includes mock Part One and Part Two graded exams.

Why should you take this course? Because it will:

Benefit any health physicist eligible to take part 1 or 2 of the CHP exam
who wants a structured review of the relevant topics.
Help you identify your weaknesses and provide guidance on what to study.
Refresh your memory on each topic and present example questions and answers
like those on the exam.
Provide strategies for test taking, explores thumb rules, and provides with
multiple strategies for solving problems.
Give you information on what to study and identify areas where you need to
concentrate.
Although you cannot pass the CHP exam with this class alone, it gives you
the tools to set up a regular, focused study program leading to success!

Profits from the class support the CSU Student Chapter of the Health Physics
Society. Continuing education credit from the AAHP is expected.

Two texts are required for this course: "Introduction to Health Physics" and
"Basic Health Physics: Problems and
Solutions". Students are asked to order their texts from Amazon.com; full
text information is given below.

Noncredit courses do not produce academic credit nor appear on a Colorado
State University academic transcript.
