Ruth and other RADSAFErs,
The original thread was not on the definition of what is a "counterweight"
or a "ballast", though this should be rather clear by now, that neither
definition can be the source of DU to the gamma dose-rate in the cabin!!!!
Listen and read the expertise on cosmic rays instead.
