Local variations do and will always exist for any 
system so complex as the Earth's climate. To 
understand what is going on, we need to look at 
data collected around the world. Unfortunately, 
the data do show global warming. Some models for 
global warming predict the weakening of the Gulf 
Stream, thus colder temperatures for Western 
Europe. Maybe that's what you are experimenting?
