Hope all is well in your vicinity. Brookhaven Lab has apparently
found some private funds which will allow the operation of RHIC
(the Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider) in 2006. Please see Brookhaven's
website and the web-pages of the BNL Collider Accelerator Division for
more information. Apparently, Brookhaven wants to do much work with
polarized protons during this RHIC run (What, no heavy ions???).
Sounds interesting.
