Excuse my French, but you must get it hotter than that to get rid of them.  However, the risk is an inhalation risk and the name generally implies, not an oral one except under a "bolus dose" and most likely affecting the respiratory tract via aspiration.

Légionelles are "legionella pneumophilia, a bacteria linving at the surface
of non salty water, so you will likely find some in cooling towers in the
appropriate range of temperature of 20 to 45 degree celcius.

Le Monde had an article yesterday (Fri) about an orgnization suing the
French govenment about excess emission of  "légionelles" from nuclear
plants. Unfortunately my French isn't good enough and neither my dictionary
or on-line were complete enough. I will be happy to send the original French
article to anyone who wants it.
