The Radiation Research Department at Riso National Laboratory wishes to
appoint a scientist to work within the field of analytical chemistry and
environmental radioactivity.

Job description
You will be working with
* development and application of procedures for analysis of
radionuclides and stable elements in environmental samples and samples
from decommissioning of the nuclear facilities at Riso
* development of methods for characterising chemical speciation of
long-lived radionuclides in the environment
* research on environmental pollution and food safety
* quality assurance and control of analytical methods

Qualifications
We seek a candidate with the following qualifications
* PhD degree in inorganic chemistry
* Experience with analytical work involving ICP techniques using OES and
MS
* Experience with nuclear analytical methods

Terms of employment
You will be employed in accordance with the terms valid for scientific
staff at Riso National Laboratory. The period of employment will be
three years.
