[ RadSafe ] Dr. Rosalie Bertell

Dear Editor:

In a note that followed a recent letter from Dr. Rosalie Bertell, you 
described her as "highly competent and skilled in the science of 
radiation risk assessment."  I would very much like to know how you 
arrived at that conclusion.

I cannot find any evidence on Dr. Bertell's web site to indicate that 
she has any formal education, training, or actual professional 
experience in health physics, radiation protection, radiation risk 
assessment, or any related subject.  I have asked for a copy of her 
CV or a list of her radiation-related education and training, but she 
has thus far declined to provide such.  Instead, she instructed me to 
read her books.  Unfortunately, I haven't time to wade through 
hundreds of pages of exaggeration and pontification in order to tease 
out the details of her credentials.

I would appreciate any information you might be able to provide.
