         From Bertell's website:

"Rosalie Bertell . . . received her Ph. D. degree in Biometrics with minors 
in Biology and Biochemistry from the Catholic University of America, in 
1966. Since that time she has worked as a biometrician and environmental 
epidemiologist."

         A few years ago I happened upon a website that listed her 
undergraduate degrees, however I cannot recall the site.  I believe she had 
an MS in statistics, but do not quote me on that.
