[ RadSafe ] FW: NYTimes Op-Ed Today: "Seize the Cesium"

I'd like to know who the analysts and what their professional backgrounds
are that concluded the following:

"Most analysts believe that about 10 people would die from radiation
poisoning after a dirty bomb attack. Others believe that the only people
likely to receive a lethal dose of radiation from a dirty bomb would already
be dead from the blast."

To make an outright statement that about 10 people would die, or would
receive a lethal dose,  without defining the parameters bounding the dirty
bomb attack, is irresponsible. 

Their statement contradicts many of the conclusions declared over the past
few years.
