AW: [ RadSafe ] New average annual medical dose

Mike,

I can assure you, that this not only true for (US-) Americans, but also for
the rest of the world.....

But a very related comment: In all the posts on the topic I have not been
able to find a hint or I overlooked it, to which population this "average"
applied. Was it for a US-state, a county, all of the USA, all of America,
did it include Europe, Asia etc.? Or do we come back to the past, where on
RADSAFE everything was without any mentioning automatically concerning the
USA?

To whatever region, state or area this rise in doses applies: I find it hard
to believe, but if it is true, then the (whatever) government should
radically restrict the application of CT-scans. ALARA is also valid for
governments!

Best regards,

Franz

As my statistics Prof in grad school said, "The Average American has a
single functional testicle and a single functional ovary."
