As much as I distain the Hiroshima bombing I distain using it for present
political agenda. 

The effects of the Hiroshima bombing have been very extensively researched
and documented and I personally believe that the xxx should be ashamed of
those people who were killed, who survived, severely injured and probably
bound to die. 

What this has to do with DU - the use of which I cannot see any reason for -
I simply do not understand. DU has nothing to do with "nuclear", it is a
material consisting of close to 100% U-238, a natural isotope found
everywhere in any rocks and any soil in this world. The radioactivity of DU
is far lower than that of natural uranium. Its use - which I categorilly
oppose - will not have any substantial impact on the target, except
immediate death of the crew of the targeted tank, not attributable to the
DU's radioactive proporties. 

We have a proverb in German, which reads, that one should not mingle apples
and pears. This is done in the original message.

Kazashi is one of the worldwide leaders of the anti-DU crusade from
Hiroshima, Japan.  It is photos like these with questionable actual linkage
to DU that are winning over legislators that really have no clue what they
are voting on - their next target is the UN and they are pushing hard --
sending you something on that as well.  The anti-DU people are also
anti-nuclear; some of them even falsely claim that nuclear enrichment really
creates more DU for these "uranium weapons" a term that they have coined to
make kinetic energy penetrators far more than what they really are.

the photo captions.

I have collated the English captions for the EU photo book to 
match them with the order of the photos. I pasted them below.
I've also made a bilingual version to use it in Japan; we are 
going to insert a printout into the book.

If you want, I could also send you both versions in an attached 
file, too.
