 -- 1968 BS in Geology, 1978 MA in Near Eastern Studies, and ABD in 
Geosciences -- all at UC Davis and Berkeley. Since then, she seems 
essentially to have done library research and writing as a protester of 
nuclear applications and of DU in particular.
