[ RadSafe ] Pet-scan hormesis

I have been diagnosed having Arteritis Temporalis and so far it has made me
half blind (the Prednison will stop further blinding I hope). Now I have
received a pet-scan to ascertain the diagnosis. Can anyone inform me on the
possible hormetic effects of such a scan?
