Franz,
Thanks for showing us the link to the Swedish Radiation Protection Institute
comment on the Tondel thesis. I was struck by the following excerpt that
seems to indicate that the SSI (Swedish Radiation Protection Authority)
totally accepts the LNT theory for small doses.
"After an initial examination of the recently published study, SSI
is critical of its conclusions for a number of reasons. The radiation doses
we receive in Sweden are low, even in the areas that received the highest
amount of fallout. This means the risk of developing cancer is very small.
SSI does not question that the fallout will cause a certain number of cases
of cancer in Sweden, but all present knowledge indicates that it will be
considerably fewer than the authors conclude."
Best regards,
Wes

Further to the link given by Peter I recommend to check the website of the
Swedish Radiation Protection Institute for their comment, issued today. Go
to www.ssi.se, type into the box in the right hand upper corner "Tondel" and
click "sok". The comment is given both in Swedish and English.
Best regards,
Franz
