[ RadSafe ] CT scans dangerous?

Are you suggesting that ALARA does not apply to the exposure received by 
radiologists, nurses, doctors, Xray technicians, machine operators, 
machine maintenance persons, etc.?  Are these folks not involved with 
medical exposures?  You must be referring to patients only.  And how 
does the fact that there have been multiple cases of patients receiving 
exposures in excess of what was really required?  Isn't the concept of 
exposing a cancer to only the amount of radiation required to treat the 
cancer a form of ALARA?
