The Nuclear and Radiological Protection Division at the Oak Ridge
National Laboratory is seeking a world-class, highly motivated Senior
Health Physicist to support operations and users at two of the world's
most sophisticated and renowned neutron science research facilities: the
state-of-the-art Spallation Neutron Source (SNS) and the High Flux
Isotope Reactor (HFIR). The SNS will offer the highest neutron flux
available in the world as it comes up to full power of 1.4 MW. HFIR is
the highest flux reactor-based source or thermal and cold neutrons in
the U.S. These two user facilities provide world-class neutron research
facilities for several thousand visiting scientists per year.
