[ RadSafe ] Natural Uranium - Isotope Abundance

The Review of The Atomic Weights of the Elements mentioned by Arvic  
Harms certainly provides references for recent determinations of  
isotopic abundance;  however, I interpreted the original inquiry by  
Randy Redmond more in the context of experimentally assaying various  
compounds to determine if they contained natural uranium.  In such  
situations it seems possible that experimental variations could  
exceed natural variations.  Thus it seems relevant to inquire by what  
means one is determining the content to one thousandth percent.
