The Review of The Atomic Weights of the Elements mentioned by Arvic
Harms certainly provides references for recent determinations of
isotopic abundance; however, I interpreted the original inquiry by
Randy Redmond more in the context of experimentally assaying various
compounds to determine if they contained natural uranium. In such
situations it seems possible that experimental variations could
exceed natural variations. Thus it seems relevant to inquire by what
means one is determining the content to one thousandth percent.
