Hi Ted,
Have you contacted any university or college libraries? I would HOPE that 
some academic institution would want to have a collection of this rather 
rare journal as a reference for their students who might [should]  need good 
technical information about radiation safety and environmental 
radioactivity issues.

Perhaps members of the list would want to contact their alma maters to see 
if they can find a place for your HP Journal set.  It would be a shame to 
toss a full collection. You can also list the set on Craig's list for the 
cost of shipping, or a brief ad on eBay for some nominal price plus the cost 
of shipping by book rate.
