Sept. 21

         Begging your pardon . . . . A major catastrophe will probably
lead to a vast amount of ranting and raving about 'why didn't "someone" do
something about this a long time ago?' This will be accompanied by an
equally vast amount of grand-standing by you-know-who, and even more
finger-pointing. The erstwhile "fear-mongers" who tried to warn about the
dangers and get some training, etc. done will be reviled. This entire
disgusting exhibition will end with another power grab by the Federal
government, which will be only to happy to save us from ourselves. Of
course, all the Feds will do is throw around a lot of money, whilst waiting
for everyone but the "fear-mongers" to go back to sleep. Then the whole
thing can start over.
