The 17th edition of "The Merck Manual", a 3000 page guide to medical
diagnosis and therapy, devotes
5 pages to radiation injuries. It devotes 7 1/2 pages to illness due to
diving or working under compressed air.
Well, at least we received more coverage than moth repellent poisoning and
motion sickness!

This problem is complacency in this country. It will take a major
catastrophic event to get people to rally on this issue and fund it.
