Greetings,

Everything has its lifetime.
We have an old TR-1900 LSC, I can not find any original software
installation disks, it has been here forever.

It is DOS based PC with 386 or 486 processor in it and still works
great.
However, the PC's power supply recently failed, so we found one
replacement in our salvage.
Now, I am thinking that the whole PC may die the next time, we can
replace the hard drive and BIOS as we have a very nice salvage
facility and can get replacement for the hardware.
But we would not be able to re-install software.

We have a new 3100TR and would like to keep the old as a working back
up.

I have two questions:

1. Can we just copy files from hard drive and copy them on the
back-up hard drive? Kind of doubt my self that it would work without
the drivers installation exe files.

2. Is there any other solution to prepare the back-up hard drive?

Thank you,

Emil.
