I'll presume Dan follows OSHA, (some state regs could be more
stringent).
According to OSHA, "Respirators maintained for emergency use as well as
respirators used in fit testing and training, must be cleaned and
disinfected after each use."
Hopefully, this address will work. It goes to the OSHA Technical
Manual, APPENDIX VIII:2-3. RECOMMENDED PROCEDURES FOR CLEANING
RESPIRATORS.
My view, dismantle and disinfect between users. The wipes are for
individuals using their own respirator between more thorough cleanings.
I've got the luxury of having quite a few brands of masks in all sizes
to use for fit-testing. It can be a hassle to clean and disinfect if
you have a small supply of masks available.
Hope this helps. Feel free to forward my thoughts to Dan (I'm not sure
if can post to radsafe).

All,
I have a question...how do you clean respirators at your facility
between fit-tests? Do you have may mask available to perform fit-tests,
or do you have a limited number and use a disinfectant wipe to clean the
mask between fit-test providing that the mask are properly cleaned at
the finish of the day.
Thanks in advance for your responses
