Hi:

I found a very old paper (1960) describing a method for locating carpenter ants nests using Iodine-131-laced bait, then detecting the gamma rays through the walls with a portable scintillation detector. Is anyone aware of this or a similar method having been used commercially?

Thank you.

Colette
