I agree with the comments that uranium is not highly likely to be the
contaminant of choice for RDDs. We should be concentrating on sealed sources and
their contents particularly since several hundred sealed sources are lost
annually in the US (NRC reports). Interestingly, the solution appears to be
electronic tracking rather than tracking by radiation emissions.
