The Dosimetry Services Division of Mirion Technologies (formerly known
as Global Dosimetry Solutions) is currently seeking to fill a Technical
Specialist position at its Irvine, CA facility.
Responsibilities include:
* Researching and documenting domestic and international dosimetry
regulatory requirements, industry standards, and accreditation and
license requirements
* Researching, developing, and implementing new products and
services
* Establishing processing and quality assurance procedures,
manuals, and technical basis documents
* Interfacing and providing technical support to all dosimetry
functional areas, management, customers, and vendors
* Performing quality assurance functions
* Maintaining and analyzing customer Environmental Dosimetry
programs
* Conducting radiation safety training programs
Education and equivalent experience:
* B.S. in sciences or related field or 5 years of relevant work
experience
* Minimum 3 years experience in Dosimetry, Health Physics, or
Quality Assurance
* Knowledge of Dosimetry accreditation requirements (domestic and
international) preferred
Salary will be determined commensurate with education and experience
