U-235 emits a gamma of 185.7 keV at 54% and many others. Pa-231 would also 
be present, which has several low energy gammas.

Pu-239 is usually detected with a FIDLER, tuned to 14 to 21 keV.

LEG and X-Rays are easy to shield. Neutrons not so easy.
