Subject: [ RadSafe ] Looking for Used Liquid Scintillation Counter
Greetings:
y campus is looking to purchase a new or used LSC. Our Packard TriCarb 1600 is
aving mechanical failures, and we need to secure a new or used machine. I have
lready contacted Beckman Coulter and Perkin Elmer, so I have an idea of what
hey will cost new.
With the budget the way it is, administration wants to also see what the options
re for a used LSC as well. Are there any vendors that sell used equipment that
ou would recommend? I have found a few used equipment vendors in Google, but I
as hoping someone here knows of a vendor, or may have an LSC that they are
ooking to sell that would serve our needs for a few more years. Any assistance
s greatly appreciated.
