Radiological Engineer 
LOCATION:  Oak Ridge, TN

DESCRIPTION: 

Provide technical support for Health Physics ALARA, Respiratory
Protection and Access Control programs 
Calculate internal dose assignments based on air sample and bioassay
data. 
Prepare, revise and maintain Radiation Work Permits through HIS20
software and perform dose tracking and trending 
Perform ALARA evaluations, manifest reviews and RWP pre-job briefings 
Develop technical training materials, conduct Health Physics technician
training, and maintain qualification program 


QUALIFICATIONS:

Competent in the calculation of internal dose from air sample and
bioassay data. 
Good technical communication and reporting skills required 
Experience with respiratory protection use and program management
desired 
Computer knowledge and skills. 
Experience with Canberra HIS20 software, electronic dosimetry use and
Microsoft Office programs 
 
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:

College Degree strongly preferred 
CHP or NRRPT certification desirable
