RADSAFE policy, its moderator and participants must engage the
'demarcation problem'.

For classicists, I recommend Sir Karl Popper CH, FRS, FBA (Austria, 1902
- 1994). For the virtual professional, Paul Lutus' essay 'What is
Science: An earnest exposition' neatly summarizes the issue at
arachnoid.com.

If an assertion is not falsifiable then it is not 'scientific'. If an
hypothesis is not evaluated as its null hypothesis then it is untested.

If Paul Lutus is insufficiently authoritative then the better known
(notorious?) Alan Sokal and his 'Transgressing the Boundaries: Toward a
Transformative Hermeneutics of Quantum Gravity' may enlighten.
