Dear Chris:

Yikes! Having lived in Austria for 12 years and spoken German for 30, I have
to smile when I see such tortuous automated translations. You are exactly
correct!

Hi!
German happens to be a very idiomatic language, so a very literal mind
like a translation program is bound to make a hash worth a chuckle. Add
to that a kind of dialect which I would call Mirrorese, which apparently
appeals to 'intellectuals', and the translation becomes thoroughly
knotted! I doubt whether it is intelligible to someone without some
knowledge of German.
