I disagree. They have now shut down Yucca Mountain so there is no place to put the nuclear waste. The industry will put on hold new production until the waste problem is solved. This will never make it into the news. This is what the administration wants. The building of new plants dies and the administration is able to say that they want the plants but no wants to build.

I think there is too much momentum now, as well as public support for nuclear power, to impede progress going forward.
