Are you talking about nominating Albert Ghiorso for the Peace Prize or some other Nobel category?

One might also consider a Nobel Prize for Stanley Thompson for his scientific contributions, but probably not in the Peace Prize area.  Another Nobel Prize winner noted about Thompson, "His radiochemical research during World War II rivals in importance the isolation of radium by Pierre and Marie Curie..."

And speaking of a not-so-obvious Nobel Prize winner, Algore (http://newsbusters.org/blogs/noel-sheppard/2009/11/18/al-gore-earths-interior-extremely-hot-several-million-degrees) stated last Thursday on the Tonight Show:

"People think about geothermal energy - when they think about it at all - in terms of the hot water bubbling up in some places, but two kilometers or so down in most places there are these incredibly hot rocks, 'cause the interior of the earth is extremely hot, several million degrees,..."
