Do these attachments show up when you look at your message in the archive?
I was suggesting the use of an image hosting site and a URL so that:
a) the image is available when searching the archives
b) the system hosting the list does not need to provide the resources to
store the images and list members who are not interested in the image will
not need to take up bandwith/resources in downloading and storing the
image(s) locally. No single image has a significant impact, but thousands
do.
