Tom Hansen,

Professor Bernard L. Cohen may have many interesting data on the topic. He offered some refreshing thoughts on the topic many years ago

Subject: [ RadSafe ] Cost of a Statistical Life

Does anyone know where I can find data and the reference for the cost of a
life saved in nuclear vs. other fields? I seem to remember someone on
Radsafe recently quoting some info, but I can't find that email and Google
isn't returning anything useful. I'm trying to put together a short
presentation on the perceived risks of radiation and would like to include
this information.

Thanks in advance.
