If the truth would have worked to persuade the target audience, Goebbels 
would have used it instead of resorting to lies.  The truth is always so 
much easier to remember.  Unfortunately, understandability and 
believability are not always compatible with the truth and a choice is 
required. 

Straw-brains of the world, UNITE!  You have nothing to lose but the 
argument, and your own self-respect to gain.
