I think some of us, who might visit Europe, only wanted the intelligence report on the best nude beaches in Franz' area. Surely these are not "verboten" due to security concerns!

I was hoping to not have a heavy hand as moderator but I have to draw
a line somewhere:
Anyone posting nude pictures of Franz is going to get banned ; )
Seriously, the line between science and politics has been
significantly blurred in the U. S. since the end of the Manhattan
Project. One can certainly argue whether or not this has been a good
thing. While it has expanded the size of the pot of funding available
for science, it has made many scientists beholden to the politicos. I
am not sure that this has been a good trade.
Radiation Protection is one field that strictly due to the regulation
is highly politicized. Please just keep the discussions civil.
Thanks,
Jeff
