Good story.  But, CT is dose + diagnostic exam, so it is "value 
added", whereas house burning is only good if your insurance is 
up to date and you don't get caught doing it yourself.  :)

About the study, if they were trying to show that early detection 
improved survival, why didn't they do PET instead of CT?  I 
thought PET was significantly better for detecting early stage 
cancer.
