Assuming we have a crazy pilot determined to crash his plane killing all
aboard---how could the airport screening process, with or without xrays, deter
him???

Mike, the problem is that there are lunatic pilots that sometimes go crazy.
Recall the Egyptian Air pilot who crashed his 767, as well as other troubled
pilots who had emotional breakdowns prior to and during a flight. I agree there
should be some modification, but whenever a process is relaxed, it can then be
thwarted by those who are very smart individuals.
Regards,
Sandy

On the other hand, I agree with the USAPA spokesman about how silly it
is to apply the same security criteria to pilots as to passengers.
