Please note that the radiation-dose-related added cancer risk from
proper CT scan use extrapolated from A-bomb survivors is hypothetical
(i.e., is linked to the LNT hypothesis). Other possibilities include no
added risk and a reduction in risk (i.e., an adaptive response). The
latter two possibilities are as plausible as is the added risk. See for
