There are also radon therapy mines in the US. See attached link among
others.

Does this extend only to external sources of WB radiation or do you also
increase your alpha emitter inhalation in fine particulate form? In
Hungary people still go to spas to inhale radon vapors. I'd like to
see some studies on this elevated source v cancer incidence.

David, I and others who have studied data on longevity, cancer and
radiation Cameron etc) do truly believe that more ionizing radiation
(like more sunshine) ould be good for most Americans. I am curious
about how many health physicists elieve likewise.
I sit on thoriated welding rods to raise my exposure - to more like I
would eceive in Denver than here on the fear-mongering left coast.

there nyone on this list that truly believes that putting all that
radiation from uclear reactors into the atmosphere will not, in the long
term, have eleterious effects (killing us, causing cancer, turning the
air pink, hatever)? Do we all also believe that all these rules to
control radiation was scam designed to make money for one group or
another?
Sorry, but I have children and grandchildren who have to live on this
rock - ow can I, in good conscience, not oppose polluting the ground,
water and air?"
Unfortunately, this is just how the majority think about nuclear power
and ther radiation industries.
